Rex's battle with a poisonous spider bite - July-6-2011

It has now been a month since his surgery. It is hard to tell but things is improving. The flesh is is filling in and has more mass than a week ago. The wound itself is pretty much the same size.
My Australian Shepard had a wound the same as this, unfortunately we were in Mexico at the time and when we notice it it was already night time. We waited till the next morning and we were shocked to see the wound was bigger than before we immediately looked for a vet but they only open on weekdays. We managed to get in contact with a vet who gave us some advice. We got him something for the pain and antibiotics but we couldn't do much and my dog passed away that same day.
Everyone should really pay attention to this kinds of wounds or any other sing that your pet is getting sick don't think "ill wait and see" because they can be really serious.
